Located in a charming 18th-century farmhouse, locally known as "Cavallera," our B&B offers a serene retreat in the heart of the Brescia countryside.
Our B&B boasts three spacious and well-appointed guest rooms, a common room where you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in peace, a kitchen for a wholesome breakfast, and a lovely outdoor space with a large porch and a green garden where you can unwind surrounded by nature.
The farmhouse is part of a working organic farm, and we prioritize the use of 100% organic, locally-sourced, fair trade, and/or zero-kilometer ingredients. Our breakfast is served in a warm and welcoming kitchen that will transport you back in time.
Despite being tucked away in the countryside, our B&B enjoys a strategic location that makes it easy to reach nearby attractions such as Lake Garda (Desenzano, Sirmione, Gardaland), Brescia, and Mantova. We're also just a five-minute drive from the Montichiari Fair Center, with ample parking space ideal for exhibitors' transportation. Lastly, our B&B is only eight minutes away from the Palageorge and Velodromo of Montichiari, making it the perfect spot for sports enthusiasts.
At our facility, breakfast is an important moment of the day and for this reason we offer carefully selected organic, local and/or fairtrade products, in full compliance with anti-covid regulations. Hi there! We are Giovanna and Irene, mother and daughter, teacher and herbalist. We love nature, ancient houses and people who are authentic and genuine. We love spending our time in the streets of historic centres, browsing the markets and shops. Our life choices are reflected in our B&B: passion for details, respect for the environment, conscious lifestyle.
Our B&B is just five-minute car from Montichiari, a beautiful small town (about 25, 000 inhabitants) in the eastern part of the upper Lombard countryside. It stands on six little hills that make the view pleasant and particularly full of charm. The landscape is dominated by the eighteen-century Cathedral, the Bonoris Castle dating back to the late nineteenth century and the old Abbey of St. Pancrace dating back to the eleventh century.
Five-minute walk from our B&B stands the little Romanic church dedicated to Santa Cristina (XI century). It is the ideal place to savour an atmosphere of bygone times and to meditate in a peaceful green oasis. For this reason Santa Cristina’church has been a source of inspiration to our B&B (and also for its name).
